We have an impressive line up of milestone birthdays this year.
Last week our eldest son turned 18.
I know it may seem a tad ridiculous, but we love Woody and Buzz.
One of our son's first toys was a Buzz Lightyear.
When I timidly suggested this cake for his party, I was pleasantly surprised by his enthusiasm.
He thought it would be a great crowd pleaser.
There are two cakes stacked on top of each other with a board in between.
The top cake is a chocolate sour cream cake.
The bottom is a caramel meringue cake.
I really enjoyed making this cake.
I am loving the opportunities I am getting to practice my piping skills.
The cake was a hit.
But more importantly, we were able to celebrate with our precious first born son and
usher him into manhood to fulfil the God given destiny set out before him,
........to Infinity and beyond!!
