This past weekend our family was honoured to attend the wedding of a beautiful young couple we know.
We felt so privileged to be a part of such a wonderful celebration.
When I found out there was to be an afternoon tea following the ceremony, I just knew I had to contribute something special. I wanted to make some cupcakes and a matching cake. As I didn't know the colour scheme of the wedding, I stuck with a classic white theme. The cupcakes were Lavender and Earl grey, while the cake was lemon and sour cream.
I really enjoyed making these and wish I had occasion to make more.
With six daughters, I am sure that one day I will get my wedding cake fix!!! By then I should be good enough to do THE cakes!!! I can't wait!!
Seven of my beautiful Blessings......all dressed up for a wedding!
Congratulations to a very beautiful couple.
We pray the Lord's blessing on you.
May you continue to flourish and grow in love and life together.

ReplyDeleteHi Mama Bear - here is your answer to your question....both the black background in my post and also the white are made by placing a free standing tri-fold foam core board directly behind the little coffee table. I bought both from Lincraft and use them sometimes for photos. If you look carefully at the white one in the photo you can see one of the fold lines.
ReplyDeleteHow did you achieve your black background in this post???
LOVE the cupcakes and the three little girls are sooooo cute.
ReplyDeleteAnna, it was lovely to meet you and the family at Nath and Mandy's wedding. Your cakes are fantabulous and I still haven't worked out how you do it! We will be intouch via email. Blessings, Lisa L.
