Update & Recipe

As most of you are aware, this Mama Bear is happily pregnant with Baby Bear #9. We are all so excited and thankful to God for this new life.
For me, early pregnancy means nausea and lots of it!
As I spend most of my days in bed, the children have all had to learn new skills, practice self denial and cheerful service! Yesterday I showed Mr J how to make chocolate muffins. As I sat seedily on the kitchen stool, I talked  him through each step. They were delicious! They were so scrumptious, they barely lasted half an hour. Here is my 11 year old with todays muffins, banana and chocolate... yum!

Banana & Chocolate Muffins

Wet Mix
1 egg
1/3 cup canola oil
1 cup milk
2 or 3 small mashed bananas

Dry mix
2 cups wholemeal flour
1/3 cup raw sugar
1 tsp bi-carb soda
1/2 (200g) block cadbury milk or dark chocolate

Method
  • Combine wet mix ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Combine dry mix ingredients in a separate bowl.
  • Gently stir both mixes together until only just combined.
  • Spoon into greased muffin tray.
  • Back at 180 degrees celsius 15-20 min.
ENJOY.
